First came Jim Lee’s intergalactic adventure of beautiful heroes and heroines battling an alien takeover. Then came a series of smaller, earthbound tales in Volume II. This latest volume is possibly the darkest of the three, and the WildCats—now scattered, hardly a team at all—bear little resemblance to the colorful, spandexed heroes Lee first created. Individual members try to survive everywhere from the cutthroat corporate world to the violent one they once knew, even as enemies from their past keep surfacing to remind them where they came from.
