Warren Ellis reveals one of the most graphic and meticulously detailed battle epics in comic book history! As the village of Va is besieged by a gigantic, smoke-belching fire demon, Wolfskin and his fellow rescuers battle for their lives against the legendary beast which towers above them, crushing all in its path. And the earth-shaking terror has not arrived alone, ushering forth an overwhelming horde of demon warriors striking down all before them in a horrific orgy of blind fury and murder. But as long as a war hammer and sword remain in Wolfskin's iron-like grip, a glimmer of victory remains, even in the face of the apocalyptic End Times which have been foretold by the prophets of this ancient world.
